1999 Mazda Miata

Upgrades that rival the new Miatas of today. 104K miles on this 1.8L 4-Cylinder, rear wheel drive, 5-speed manual transmission sports car.

The Good: It has 17-inch rims with 205/40R17 front tires, 215/45R17 rear tires, and newly installed MeisterR Sportive Coilovers (driven less than 10 miles since installation). Enjoy the conveniences of remote start, a touchscreen digital multimedia receiver with GPS navigation, Bluetooth hands free calling, audio streaming, Bose speakers, interior red LED lighting, roll-bars, power windows, key-less entry, air-conditioning, cruise control, fog lights, red LED fender lighting, Cobalt high-capacity air filter system, aluminum radiator, battery disconnect bar (for storage), Jass Performance Center Console Delete Kit, and a Brand-New Soft Top. The rear fender well was shaved to accommodate larger race profile tires with wheel spacers. The required side latches and rear deck bolts were added to install a hardtop.

The Bad: Unfortunately, there was a freak hailstorm which resulted in small hail dents on the hood (pictured), but it still looks great. You could get it repaired or replaced down the road if you choose. Sometimes there is a hum in the radio that you can hear when you rev the engine. It’s a 1999 so there are spots where the paint has faded, and the seats have some small cracks.

It has a clean Texas title, registration, and inspection which is good through March 2024. We are the second owners. The first owner only put about 50K miles on the car from 2000 through 2015 (15 years). We put on about 50k miles from 2015 through 2021 (6 years) until COVID hit. Then we came back East from Texas. The Miata has been stored for the last 2 years, only taken out to circulate the fluids, charge the battery, complete the inspection for yearly registration, and to install the listed updates in anticipation of using it again as a daily driver. But Post-COVID this didn’t happen, and it remained in storage. So, now you can enjoy the fun of owning and driving this amazing sports car!

The Maita is currently parked inside of an enclosed storage facility in Charles County, MD. So, I can show it during the weekends or on holidays. To find a reasonable indoor storage rate the facility is an hour away from our home so please no looky-loos, serious buyers only. I can send you more pictures and a link to several video walk-arounds.

Cash or electronic transfers- no checks.
