~2000 Dodge Ram 3500 – 5.9L Diesel / NV4500 / 175k Miles / BONE STOCK FOR SALE~
Location: Pompano Beach
Price: $7500

I have my Dodge Ram 3500 up for sale. I’ve owned this truck for quite a few years now, I recently got a new vehicle and no longer have a need for this truck. She is bone stock and has low miles compared to most out there. 2WD, NV4500 that I personally got swapped in – this truck was automatic and when the auto trans went out I decided to swap to manual. I got a freshly built NV4500 and installed it with a Valair clutch (stock spec), and did a whole OEM manual conversion with parts sourced from another manual truck.

The good:
-175k miles
-Stock everything
-Fresh built NV4500 swapped in about 2 years ago
-CLEAN BODY ZERO RUST, ZERO DAMAGE, ZERO REPAIRS
-Leather Interior (driver seat has the usual tear on bottom cushion)
-AC worked perfectly until condenser got a pinhole, just need a new compressor for ac
-Working PowerSteering
-All electronics work as they should
-Solid rear window!
-Front end items were also done 2 years ago with transmission – ball joints, wheel bearings, sway bar end links, pads and rotors.

The bad:
-The reason for the lower than normal price is this… Out of no where the truck has a “limiter” of 45mph. I have no idea what it is. It starts right up, no hesitation, will rev with no issue and no limiter, and otherwise feels fine. Just will not go over 45mph. I have owned this truck for about 5-6 years and have never had an issue other than the auto trans going out which is why I swapped to manual, and now this. I purchased another vehicle so instead of fixing this one Im selling as-is for way less than it would be worth fixed. Maybe someone out there knows what the issue is and its a cheap fix – my loss your gain.
