2nd owner truck runs and drives amazing for iis age the engine runs nice and smooth at a perfect idle transmission ships out every automatic gear as smooth as butter dish 2003 F150 XL short bed single cab has its original 4.2 V6 engine which is great on fuel it has an automatic transmission with overdrive and it has 132,000 all original actual miles it’s 2 Wheel Dr. this little pick up has plenty of pep has lots of life left and Will get up and go
One of the great things about this truck is the fact that it’s never pull the trailer and then it’s life or seen a hard days work you can tell by looking at the tow package the plastic trim around the bumper and the bedliner had the bedliner out on the fuel pump was replaced and there’s no where in tear in the back of the bed either the bedliners been probably since factory another awesome fact about this truck there is no Ruston right in the usual spot at all door edges tailgate edges end of the bed rocker panels wheel wells cab corners all completely solid frame and chassis all solid
Manual windows and door locks vinyl floors aftermarket removable face stereo with kicker amp in the back tinted windows down the tent is a little old everything works as it should go to heat cold AC pretty clean interior for its age other than the tear you can see in the driver side far left side of the seat which is a common issue for any truck of this age
A lot of these trucks have really bad upholstery the door panels are usually all messed up from sweat stains and broken the biggest issue is the dashboard tops are always busted and the headliners are always ripped up and sagging and as you can see in the pictures this interior does not have those issues
The exterior has no major body damage of any kind a few dings and dents which should be expected for anything that’s 20 years old and a few areas of clearcoat that have been cloudy or faded from being in the Florida sun have been touched up but other than that the exterior looks fine
The tires have about 90% tread life left they’re almost brand new it has a new diehard battery last year the cooling system was done it got a new water pump thermostat serpentine belt thermostat housing it just got a brand new fuel pump has a new coil pack new wires new spark plugs brakes are great rear differential fluid was changed no check engine lights no airbag lights no brake lights no warning lights on no leaks of any kind that I can see no lifter noise is no valve taps no rod knocks no smoking or shaking
These short bed single cab pick ups are always popular they always have been and always will be and they’re not easy to find and if you do find one there either extremely low mileage and in superb condition and $10,000 or more order beat up all the work trucks would more than double the mileage of this one did all rusted out without air conditioning and people are still looking for $3000-$5000
The truck has a clean clear private party Florida title in hand no reconstructions no salvages no rebuilds no floods no lien holders no issues or damages from hurricane Ian this is a private party sale the asking price is $4900 very firm no tire kickers no low Ballers not trying to be rude or obnoxious just want to get a quick simple sale and not waste your time or mine
If you think this is expensive then take a look at the average truck that’s 15 to 20 years old with over 250,000 miles selling for more money or you could always visit the Ford dealership and order a short bed single cab since they never have them in stock you can get a decently loaded one for about $45K or so lol and the dealership probably won’t give you a full tank of fuel this truck also comes with 3/4 of a full tank of gas lol
At the end of the day it looks presentable it runs amazing it needs nothing mechanically she has ice cold air conditioning she’s a short bed single cab in red she’s a V6 which I believe in my opinion is the better engine for this body style it’s a automatic without four-wheel-drive it has no rust has a clean title the interior isn’t all tore apart end it hasn’t been worked hard at all if you’re interested you could reach out to me at show contact info
